You do not have to waste time deleting spam e-mails that clutters up your inbox with offers of fake watches and sexual enhancements. SPAMfighter will automatically check your e-mails and then move the spam to a special SPAMfighter folder.

Be a spam fighter

When you are using SPAMfighter, you are part of a worldwide community of spam fighters. If a spam e-mail is not detected as spam, you just click the button Block in the toolbar. SPAMfighter will then move the e-mail to the SPAMfighter folder, and information about the e-mail will be sent to the SPAMfighter server. When a certain number of users have marked a specific e-mail as spam, the e-mail will be blocked from the inboxes at the program's millions of users all around the world. Users thus help each other to keep their inboxes spam free.

The content of the e-mail will not be sent to the SPAMfighter server, only information about it. Your privacy will not be breached!

SPAMfighter automatically moves spam e-mail into a folder called SPAMfighter. SPAMfighter does not delete the e-mails as it may differ what users consider as spam. Some users mark all e-mails from mailing lists as spam, even though they themselves have asked for them. Thus, there is a risk that such an e-mail lands in your spam folder, even though you would like to receive it. To allow such an e-mail, you simply mark it as non-spam, and future e-mails from the mailing list will not be blocked.

Local Settings

Beyond the community created spam filter, you can choose local options that only affect your inbox. You can for example choose only to receive e-mails in English or Turkish, or e-mails from certain countries. You can specify addresses that should never be blocked and you can easily import all the addresses in your address book.

Conversely, you can block mail from specific addresses, without them being included in the community created filter. This can for example be useful if you want to block emails from an ex-girlfriend.

Supports Several Popular E-mail Programs

SPAMfighter supports a variety of popular e-mail programs. However, please note that some programs, for example Thunderbird and Windows Mail, has a build-in spam filter. If your e-mail program has a built-in spam filter, then first try to see if it is fulfilling your needs. There is no reason to buy and install SPAMfighter if the built-in spam filter can protect your inbox from spam.
